Medina for Texas Governor

Finally we have some one That I feel we desperately need as Governor of Texas. Yes I know ole Ricky has done some good things for us and so has former president Gorge W Bush. But this person I'm talking about has the same views and concerns that I have about our great state. By all means I myself am not a political scalar or up to par on all of the things that goes on in politics. I'm just your average working Texan that has grown tired of all the empty promises from our State and Government officials. Higher taxes and too many old familiar faces in Washington to name a few.

Dave Ramsey talks about term limits.

One day my neighbor came out and spoke of this person who is running for Governor, me not being the type who keeps up with all of this stuff said " WHO"? You should of seen the expression on her face, so I stepped back waiting for a smack on my noggin..... Remember what I told you, I don't keep up with this kind of stuff. She gave to me her name and then said " now go and look at her website and see for yourself".

Well, I need to thank my neighbor for telling me this. I now know were my vote is going, DO YOU! There are a lot of people like me out here, we work 40hrs or more a week, go to church on Sunday, play with kids / dogs, watch football / American idle, then come Monday do it all again. There comes a time were you need to say " SHAME ON ME"! for not getting involved more. That's what I did.

"WHAT"!

Thats what I screamed

Voting... American Idol vs. Presidential elections Progressive U
So while it is sad that the voting statistics for America keep declining, American Idol doesn't necessarily garner more individual votes than the Presidential election-it's the same people voting multiple times every week.

THIS IS IT, THE TIME IS NOW !

We need a fighter like this as Governor of Texas, someone who is at our level of life and understands the needs of us, WE the people of our great state of Texas.

SOME VIDEOS AND INFO YOU CAN FIND ON YOU/TUBE OR MEDINA'S WEBSITE.

Debra Medina for Texas Governor 2010
Born in Beeville and raised on a South Texas farm, Debra Medina is a wife and mother, a registered nurse, a businesswoman, a rancher and a fighter.
Debra has always drawn strength from the courage of her convictions. She first got involved in politics in the early 1990s, when she saw that local leaders were not honoring the pro-life principles that guide her beliefs. Now chairing the Republican Party of Wharton County, she took the Republican Party of Texas to court in 2008 over violations in how the state convention was run.
Standing up to Goliaths is pretty much what Debra does.
She homeschooled both her children long before homeschooling had the kind of support and visibility it has today. She graduated from San Antonio’s Baptist Memorial Hospital System School of Nursing in 1984, and later earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the evangelical Christian Le Tourneau University. In 2002, she founded her own business, Prudentia Inc., which specializes in improving medical billing procedures.
Through it all, Debra has waged and won battles that were not always popular – battles that often demanded uncompromising personal sacrifice. But this kind of strength is no surprise. After all, one of her ancestors fought in the Revolutionary War. Another lost his life in the fall of 1842 in the Dawson Massacre near San Antonio, fighting to preserve Texas independence.
Today, Debra Medina continues this legacy. She stands solidly on the principles of limited government, a sound economy, individual liberty and the inviolable importance of family, community and faith.

Medina Victorious in Battle Against Republican Party of Texas
by Nelda Carrizales Skevington on Jan 05, 2010
WHARTON, TX, Monday, January 4, 2010 – The Medina campaign announces the 1st Court of Appeals has decided in favor of Debra Medina in her lawsuit from last year against the Republican Party of Texas (RPT). Medina alleged the RPT violated law in the way it operated its state convention and was forced to challenge the RPT in court in an effort to ensure party followed law. Debra Medina said, “This welcome decision by the court validates months of hard work. I applaud the court for its decision to protect the plaintiffs from suffering further.” The case originally was dismissed on an issue of jurisdiction.Read more ... »

US Border Watch Endorses Debra Medina for Governor
by Curtis Collier, President US Border Watch on Dec 29, 2009
US Border Watch is deeply concerned about the lack of progress being made from both Washington DC and Austin TX in securing our borders from drug smugglers, terrorists and illegal immigrants. The two candidates for the Republican nomination for Governor who currently hold elected offices (that of Senator and Governor) have repeatedly made promises and then turned their backs on these issues or completely reversed their campaign promises. They have consistently failed to protect the rule of law and the citizens of this great state.
Debra Medina offers a fresh perspective on these issues. She is not burdened with years of conflicting promises that cannot be kept.Read more ... »
